PATT  FAMILY  NEWS  LETTER
DECEMBER   2009

December 2009

As the holiday season and a new year fast approach, it is a good time to make some changes.
Our wonderful Webmaster is redesigning part of our web site.
We will be adding “newsletters” during the year to update everyone on our efforts.

We received donations throughout the year from many Angels.
We received donations from friends and local businesses.
Thank you for supporting our troops.

Employees from Duke Energy recently had a presentation in honor of Veterans’ Day and donated items for care packages. Their generosity has stocked up our supplies for care packages.
We are very grateful for their donations and we are sending them to our heroes overseas. Thank you.

We have three heroes returning to the states during November and December.
We wish them a safe and speedy return home to their families.

We currently have six heroes overseas in Korea, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
We have a few more days to send care packages in time for the holidays.

We continue to send care packages throughout the year.
It is through the generous donations of local businesses and our Angels that we may continue.
We are quickly approaching our 6th year of sending care packages.
When we began sending care packages to Michelle, we never thought about how long we would continue to do this.
We plan to continue until everyone on our list is safely home in the states.

As we look forward to 2010, we have a few plans to finalize.
We are planning to do a “Meet & Greet” in February in Cincinnati area and another one in the Indianapolis area.
Details also soon to be posted on our website.

The " Thank You Foundation " will be working on the “Welcome Home Celebration 2010”
and we will be helping with this event again. No plans have been made yet.

Thank you to all of our military heroes for all they do to keep us free and safe.

Thank you to all of the families who support these heroes.
